Mediapulse Launches Three New Websites

Mediapulse, Tennessee's oldest and most established Internet marketing firm, recently launched websites for an economic development association, a utility and a law firm. These clients are all taking advantage of the iDeal Platform, Mediapulse's new online software platform that allows businesses to easily manage their websites.
The Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley website (www.knoxvilleoakridge.org) promotes the region as an ideal business location, offering a redesigned and revitalized appearance and ease of navigation for those seeking information about the region.
The Hallsdale-Powell Utility District website (www.hpud.org) provides a wealth of information to increase its customer service online for the 26,000 customers who receive water and wastewater services from the utility district in East Tennessee.
The website of Wagner Myers & Sanger P.C., a Knoxville law firm, (www.wagnermyers.com) offers clients and potential clients an overview of attorneys in the firm and the services they provide, primarily in the areas of health law, real estate and commercial leasing. The site's creative design, information and ease of use make it unique among law firm web sites.
A new tool on the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley website, the PDF creator, allows staff at the East Tennessee Economic Development Agency to easily customize a package of information from the website for a particular customer.
"Well over 80 percent of the information we send out is in electronic format, so this works well for us," said Brad Maul, ETEDA Director of Business Development. "The PDF Creator is also an excellent tool for people looking at the region, a lot of our local communities, as well as external site consultants."
ETEDA manages the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley website, and the iDeal Platform has made that task easier, providing a website that's more user-friendly internally and to site visitors, Maul said.
"For administration and maintenance, with the new iDeal Platform we are able to do things much quicker. The ease of use allows anyone in our office, as opposed to one or two people, to make changes on the fly," he said.
Mediapulse's iDeal Platform also solved a key concern for the Hallsdale-Powell Utility District, according to Stefanie Farrell, the district's Engineering Services Coordinator, said.
"Maintaining up-to-date information on our website was one of our biggest concerns as we approached this project. We don't have the technical staff to support a complex website, and we were concerned about being too dependent on a professional firm to assist us with updates," she said. "The platform really meets the needs of our district."
The iDeal Platform gives businesses the tools to easily change and manage the content of websites, track visitors' moves, generate real-time website statistics, and manage inquiries while tracking lead generation.
Farrell said the utility district's new web site has improved customer service and access to information for engineers and architectural firms.
"With the introduction of the new website, the power to access a wealth of information has been placed in the hands of our customers," she said. "No longer do our ratepayers have to suffer through long telephone interactions to receive answers to such simple bits of information as ‘What are the hours for your customer service department?' or ‘What pieces of information are required for me to open a new account?'"
The website also contains a new, secure entry to "Engineering Documents," allowing engineers or architects from anywhere in the country working on projects in the district to access specific information regarding regulations, Farrell said.
She said she enjoyed working with Mediapulse staff to develop the new website. "They sought every opportunity to say ‘yes' to our requests and were genuinely interested in our satisfaction. It was an extremely pleasurable experience working with such a professional organization."
Mediapulse took the Wagner Myers & Sanger law firm's website from a bare bones site to a functional, easy-to-use online presence that includes in-depth biographical information on each of the firm's attorneys. Also powered by the iDeal Platform, the website allows the firm to manage and update the site internally.
